What are the Best Dimensions for Custom Labels

Today I’m going to be talking to you about how you can go about figuring out what size your custom labels should be.

Obviously labels come in a variety of sizes and shapes and if you’re creating custom labels, the sky is really the limit.

The question is: what are the best label dimensions for creating a custom label?

First, there are some factors you need to take into consideration.

You want to create unique labels that will catch the eye of your customers, but you also have to take cost into consideration. For example, an extra large label or one in a unique shape, such as this one,  may draw attention, but is the extra attention going to outweigh the added costs?

Obviously I can’t answer that question for you. And as far as what the best label dimensions are for a custom label, there is actually no right answer to that question.

All you can do is ask what your goals are, establish a budget and work with a label manufacturer to figure out the most cost effective way to print that label.

On one hand, if you need the most cost-effective label possible, a standard sized label, like this one, is going to be your best bet. On the other, if you are trying to grab as much attention as possible and make your brand really stand out, you may want to explore the idea of going with an oddly shaped or extra large label.

It really all comes down to what your goals are. At LabelValue.com, we do work with our customers to explore different ideas they might have and what the cost considerations are, and you’re welcome to contact us anytime for a hassle-free quote.

That’s all for today guys, but I look forward to seeing you next week.
