Hopefully you're placing the finishing touches on your Thanksgiving planning by now. But it's not too early to think about the holidays and you're ever-expanding to-do list.
Buying gifts, sending cards, booking airfare...the list goes on.
Here's a refresher on what to do and when to do it:
- Cards - You can buy your cards well in advance. Why not now? Send them two to three weeks before the holiday, so guests have time to display them. Add a season's greeting to your envelopes, too with Dymo 30397 holiday address labels.
- The tree - Most of us spend a lot of time decorating the tree each year. If you own an artificial tree, you can set it up after Thanksgiving for weeks of enjoyment.
- Airfare - Start looking for holiday deals now. They are currently competitively priced.
- Planning the menu - Two or three weeks before your holiday, plan a menu and start asking family members what they would like to bring to the feast.
- Gifts - Not a 5 a.m. Black Friday shopper? Start looking online. Pretty much all of your shopping can be done with the click of your mouse and many online retailers offer discounted or free shipping if you order in advance.
